I picked up our Christmas dinner to go, everything was well organized, hygiene measures were very good !!

The four of us had dinner and were very pleased with the excellent food and the courteous service.

We always like to come regularly, the food and service are outstanding. Denis Kleinknecht and his team use the best craftsmanship and creativity to combine kitchen art and the pub atmosphere very well. Regional top cuisine, down to earth and far more than the best restaurant kitchen. I save special recommendations here, it is best to just look at the menu, trust in the chef and the service is worth it. There are fine menus and a super steak menu. The prices are cheap for the quality offered. It's good that we live close enough to have great food on a regular basis.

The love for the product, especially meat of the very best quality, is clearly noticeable. All dishes tried were perfect. To top it off, the service is very friendly and eager to please. You can feel the good atmosphere in the team. A guarantee for a successful evening!

Always a pleasure. Regardless of whether it is an inn classics, something from the steak menu or one of the special delicacies ... The emphasis here is on quality - which you can definitely taste. And that combined with extremely friendly service. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Great food. The quality doesn’t have to hide from a few high-end restaurants. I got really unusual and very tasty food here and can only recommend taking a starter and trying your way through the menu - not because the portion is so small, but because the food is so delicious. You won't find a run-of-the-mill menu here and you will really be surprised with new tastes. Very nice service and great atmosphere. We love to come back and will bring friends too! We definitely have to try the other dishes! In my opinion, a great price-performance ratio.

We were in the area and found the place via Google Maps. It was a real discovery. We both had a knife cut tartar with a home made brioche - it was fantastic quality meat and everything just delicious! As dessert, we had a Kaiserschmarren - also lots of taste and special! The service was excellent . It was a great experience and despite living a 45 min drive away - we will definitely be back!

Best food I have ever eaten. I could write novels about how the meat melts in your mouth and how the taste fills your mouth with joy. The fries are homemade and very tasty and the kaiserschmarrn is an absolute dream

We were there yesterday and had the steamed noodles and once the duck liver as a starter. I can only say one thing ... Are you crazy, that's cool stuff! The duck liver was simply perfect. Super tasty! And when I thought it did not get any better .... came the steamed noodle! In short - a poem! Even if the way there is not the closest, go there. No matter how many KM you have to drive, it does! It is worth it .. Will be there more often.

MUST VISIT!!! We weren't planning on visiting this restaurant but it just happened to be in the middle of our road trip. Honestly it was the best German food experience during out stay in Germany. Super kind chef and nice little family restaurant vibe that provides the best food. Every dish was exceptional and I definitely miss it a lot after coming back to Canada.

Location, service and food good. A star deduction for the sauteuren drinks (half beer € 4.40), the lumpy rolls at the goat cheese burger and the time-shifted main courses (the last of 6 pieces came when the first had already eaten).

Everyone will find something tasty on the menu. You get hostess portions, so bring a lot of hunger. The landlord is friendly and attentive. We can recommend the economy.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the owners were very friendly. Don't miss the desserts, specially the weiss beer tiramisu. If you are passing by, it's worth stopping!
